What's even more astonishing than the fact that so many people today are still horribly racist is the fact that so many people don't find it to be that big of a deal. What I mean is not someone hearing someone saying something racist and not thinking of it as negative, but hearing someone call someone a nigger or spic and thinking "well I'm not ( Read more... )

Yeah racism still exists and if anyone thinks otherwise they need a wake up call.
I think racism is more hidden. People these days claim they arent racist just because they dont call other people niggers, chinks, and etc or like the person above said, "IM NOT RACIST. I HAVE A BLACK FRIEND," when they really are racist. I think the people in the South are more likely to tell you off to your face.
I never really experienced much racism in Columbus but im sure theres racists here.

And you are so right. Blacks can just be as racist. Im so sick of people bringing the race card to everything and the whole,"I hate white people. They always try to bring a brotha down."

My black roomate sophomore year claimed she didnt hate white people but she always complained about them. "I have white friends. Im not racist." whatever.
