As Dong Bang Shin Ki's manager, you see many things that other people do not. You are like a silent sixth member, the protector, the watcher, always there if needed, in the background if not. Sometimes you're so good at your role that even the boys themselves do not realize you are there.
Being so close to them, you

First of all, I really like the way you've written this. The tone and feeling of the piece is very consistent throughout and the second point of view somehow makes it hit home harder =].
I finished this story off feeling so manipulated on the boys' behalf! It's like they aren't even considered human, they have no rights of their own! Not entitled to have feelings of their own! Like they're just money-making robots or something! kjdfa;glkjga;lkdjag!!!
The next day finds you in the van with the boys, and you can feel the tension, the longing and pain each is going through, but you remind yourself that fame and fortune is not a path paved with gold and silver, but broken shards of red glass.
That's beautiful *_*.
Don't be weak, you tell him, protect the others who don't understand. Protect Jaejoong.
I'll protect them, he says with determination.
This is so very in-character for Yunho that I feel like kicking something.
So when Jaejoong comes to you, hurt yet unwilling to cry in front of you, asking why ( ... )

It was painfully good. Even if the JaeChun fangirl in me was screaming at the implied obvious YooSu. *shoves Su at Min*
But yeah. It was a good hurt. And I love the style you delivered the story in. *thumbs up*
Keep writing ficcies.

I think this is one of the best DBSK fics I've ever read. It's incredibly powerful, especially for a one-shot, and it really really hurts. ;______;
The unique thing about it, and what I believe is one of it's greatest strengths, is that it isn't overly-cliche or drama mama but still conveys the emotions of each character very well. It's heartrending without compromising characterisation or an important sense of realism.
We aren't given a glimpse of what is actually going on in the boys' heads, but through their actions and reactions, we the readers can imagine for ourselves the internal struggles they must be going through. And it is, perhaps, because you haven't explicitly written down how they feel that the emotions come through even more strongly, because the human imagination is often more powerful than what words can convey.
Your charaterisation is spot on, especially with Ho -

The "singing for Yunho" was about the X-man special (151) where Jaejoong sang Hug in chinese to Yunho, and Yunho said he felt a bit uncomfortable/fluttered, and talked about Dangerous Love, at which after filming supposedly they didn't talk to eachother for a while. The whole Jaechun implication was based on the bit more recent stuff where Jaejoong seems to be showering a lot of attention on Yoochun.
thanks for the review~~~
