I do, but when it comes to getting things across with her you can't go anything shorter then a full blown ranting raving scream till your red in the face melt down.

Anything less then that and she ignores anything you tell her.

If I want to get the point across I will have to give my vocal cords a thrashing just to get her to even remotely consider the whole issue is none of her business.

At this point I just ignore her when I can. But have essentially given up dealing with her crap. I have come to the conclusion that until I am living elsewhere I will have to put up with her crap (she likes using the it's my house defense/offense in anything).

Hm, of course it's much more difficult for you to move when you're working for the family. For shits and giggles, why don't you do some job hunting on the side? I mean you'll have nothing to lose and you might score something that's much more profitable than what you've got going at the moment. That way, you'll start making the necessary steps of slowly moving away.

I should do some job hunting (couldn't hurt anything and like you said I may find something better).

I just don't know what I would want to do or what skills I would be able to market with any success in such a tough economy. I know I have some skill sets but none I would consider exemplary or remarkable.

Aw well never know what I might find if I don't look.
