Oh wow, this fic is amazing! It almost feels like Spock is talking to the fans as much as to Kirk about the fact that this Kirk & Spock won't have the same relationship as the old Kirk & Spock. "Kirk could feel how strongly that episode had shaped the old Vulcan" Was that intentional?
