I just came back from checking out Burn After Reading. I like the Cohen brothers. I also like having the cinema to myself. I don't know what it is with people, but they seem to HATE The Palace. I find it's my favourite place in the city to watch a flick. I think it's charming. I don't need THX or stadium seating. I want old school. Yeah, it's a ( Read more... )

i have always loved the palace too... it does have charm, and there is nothing like going there alone to find either 1 or no people in the theater... i used to hit it up every tuesday night wheni lived downtown for 4.25$ movie night lol even if i had not to much interest inthe preview of a movie... iwent any ways...found alot of fun movies that way lol

well good luck with your set! i am sure you will do great! is it weird that in all my time in windsor i have never beento kildare house? like ever lol

I think I should start doing that. Take like $5 that I make on the weekends and go see a flick. I used to do that a lot. But now I've stopped seeing a lot of movies.

It is a little strange that you've never been to the Kildare House. It's a cool place. Real small, but a TON of atmosphere.

And thanks for the well-wishes on the set :-)

Palace is definately one of windsors best kept secrets. Well actually they announce it quite often just no one goes there. It reminds me of what a theatre is supposed to be. The theatre in Hanover is absurd. They make you buy your ticket outside, in which they give you a ticket stub, and then you walk 3 feet and hand your ticket to the doorperson. Useless pollution if you ask me. But they remind me a bit of the palace as its a small old theatre in the downtown.

Last night when we went there wasn't even anyone there to take our tickets. We could have just walked in. And yeah, useless pollution for sure.

I don't know either. I personally love it! There should be more! (But they'd never survive in this city.)
