Oops.  Kind of falling down on the 'updating the journal' thing.  Has been a busy week, however, between TAKS tutoring, Spanish class, my week for team detentions, grades being due, and the fact that I've been really tired.  I wonder why?  Today was mainly spent grading the pronoun/comparative&superlative test I gave (mind-numbingly boring),

If it's any comfort, I'm feeling rather terrified about TAKS myself this year. Much moreso than in previous. The kids we have this year are all fabulous readers which should translate into some level of profiency at writing. Such is not the case.
