I haven't posted here in almost a decade, but I still use this account to keep track of other things on LJ so I thought I'd make a random post for the sake of posterity. I have quite a few stories to rec today. Some I've found through other people's rec sites, others I found on my own while trawling through FF.net and the like. It's been a *long* time since my last rec update. Since then I've started college, gained new obsessions, and generally been too busy to compile much of anything- much less fanfic recs. Not everyone's cup of tea, today's recommendation is one of the very few self-insertation stories out there that I've actually liked. Might be because the SI characters aren't always the main characters, maybe because even though they're SI characters they still act like *people* (and likable ones at that), but probably because it's a damn good ( Read more... ) -
