[He takes a minute to pose, arm extended as though to embrace all of Adstring including Kaoru, but then eagerness overwhelms him again, and he leans closer, speaking breathlessly.]
Did you bring any roses? The only roses here eat people. Oh, it's so good to see you! Have you got a place to live yet? If not, I've just set up a tea salon, you can live there! You haven't got any decent porcelain about your person, do you? Oh, and watch out for the cats!

Well, first of all, I've been told that when one is returned, it's to the same moment in time from which one was snatched. So you don't need to worry about Hikaru worrying over you, at least!
[He perks up a little, eagerly]
And our kind hosts, the Animus, won't let you stay alone for long! They seem to have a thing for twins, there are lots of them here, even though they're usually in the same body and, and, and, in the meantime, I can try and get to know you properly so I'll have no trouble winning the which one is Hikaru game!

We're living just like commoners, here, it's a great adventure! You didn't bring any commoner's coffee, did you? I haven't been able to find any. And if you see any cats or rabbits, do resist your very natural tendency to pet them. They bite. Really hard.

Everyone's fine. [He relaxes and smiles. Aaand he can't resist teasing now you, Tamaki.] Though Haruhi did get a bit of a scare earlier, during the Tournament. Hikaru and I made sure to keep her nice and safe, though.

...Do I still look as devastatingly handsome six months into the future? (We can't get skin products here, not decent ones, anyway. Just things like Elizabeth Arden and stuff. I've been worried about their long-term effect!)
