[The feed clicks on at an odd angle. After a few moments, it is clear that the PCD is on the ground, tilted just slightly to be able to catch some of the landscape on screen; dilapidated buildings, a few trees, and even an abandoned car litter the street.]

[Kaoru's head whips around to face the direction of the voice. It takes him a while to notice the PCD and he quickly runs over to it and picks it up.]

My brother, h-he was right here. I turned around and now he's gone, we... Maybe Group B dragged him off or something, to try and scare us...

[He relaxes a little at the smile, then just blinks at her explanation, even letting out a small laugh.]

[He takes a minute to pose, arm extended as though to embrace all of Adstring including Kaoru, but then eagerness overwhelms him again, and he leans closer, speaking breathlessly.]

Did you bring any roses? The only roses here eat people. Oh, it's so good to see you! Have you got a place to live yet? If not, I've just set up a tea salon, you can live there! You haven't got any decent porcelain about your person, do you? Oh, and watch out for the cats!

Well, first of all, I've been told that when one is returned, it's to the same moment in time from which one was snatched. So you don't need to worry about Hikaru worrying over you, at least!

[He perks up a little, eagerly]

And our kind hosts, the Animus, won't let you stay alone for long! They seem to have a thing for twins, there are lots of them here, even though they're usually in the same body and, and, and, in the meantime, I can try and get to know you properly so I'll have no trouble winning the which one is Hikaru game!
