I need to start watching this (oh so many years after it ended) because it's one of the biggies of fandom and wonderful authors wrote for it and all of the cool kids watched it and shipped those two guys and...yes.

Ok - it took me until now to get over the shock of your comment. You haven't *seen* it yet?!?!?! Oh honey. Get thee a borrowed copy (practically everyone in fandom has them, including me, and we'll share - let me know if you want dvds mailed) or to a rental place and WATCH THIS SHOW. It is quirky funny, and about partnerships, and Benton Fraiser is a character like no other, and Diefenbaker the deaf wolf is made of win. And the cell phones! How huge and clunky the cell phones look now.

Start at the beginning and just keep watching. You will love it.

Ha! I just saw this post today. The car on fire. And even Dief has this look on his face like "WTF am I doing with these two?" LMAO. And CKR's Canadian accent is sort of cracking me up.
