A Productive Spring Break on the Homefront
My intention this spring break was to redo the kitchen. It's not a big kitchen, and I only had a corner of the kitchen to redo, so it wasn't a big task. But then I took it from the kitchen out to the dining room. Part of me is wishing I hadn't done that, but I'll get over it.

quick updates
Nathan peed is the potty yesterday. It went like this: he takes his diaper off, brings it to me. Then apparently he brings his potty into the room where I am and goes it in! My students were looking at sample TAKS essays yesterday. I labeled them "Essay A" - "Essay G."
Clearly they weren't all paying attention. I told a student to read Essay G and identify the figurative language. He made the note to look at "S-A-G" -

I got an e-mail from Angel Food Ministries this morning - they extended the deadline at our pick-up site until Friday! I got to order our food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -

We got a thick envelope from Fort Eustis. We didn't send original weight tickets from our move. So, we're hoping to get that cleared up with the trucking company that did the weighing. They don't just give away their originals though ( Read more... )
