Your icon is gorgeous.

I don't think I'd really realized it until this episode. He really is quite striking. ♥

So true about Colin.

And Bradley. More smiling. Or pouting. Pouting is good too.

Kerry. ♥

When will I see you again? I'm totally having withdrawal.

And, yes, pouting!! He should totally do that more often, too. Yum.

oh, it´s so nice when you talk about a tv show I actually know :)

I have nothing on the actual episodes, other than that Morgana makes my heart hurt and I thought the exact same thing about the R.O.U.S.s! I loved Merlin in that episode, and exactly for the same reason - clever and bumbling and powerful, adorable wizard :)

Colin Morgan though, man. I would not complain if Bradley showed up in my bed, with his gorgeous smiles and weird teeth and crazy adorable faces, but Colin Morgan might just be the most gorgeous man I´ve ever set eyes on. In conclusion, when will they finally make out on camera? You know they want to!

:P

Merlin has such depth and I really like it. He seems so genuinely pleasant, and I love seeing that happy-go-lucky, even semi-snarky at times, personality.

It's funny, because I tend to be drawn to dark haired people more often, but I'm drawn so often on screen to watching Bradley. I have no idea why, but I am. I think I've found Colin attractive, but it wasn't until this episode where I saw really how beautiful he is. I think I like him in some of the pictures I've seen with slightly longer hair.

His cheekbones, though, omg. I could just die.

I know - I can´t wait to see more of him. I think I can safely say, without spoiling you, that there´ll be a lot of development and depth added to him and his relationship towards the end of the season, and I can´t wait to see how he deals with it all in the third seaon. In other words, can it start yet??

And, it´s been Colin for me since day one. He hits all my buttons physically - from the cheekbones (omg!!) and big hands (when he grabs the goblet in Poisoned Chalice? Holy fuck, it looks like somebody sneaked him an extra knuckle or two there) and long, skiny, graceful limbs - and add an absolutely charming personality on and off screen. Honestly, I don´t think I´ve ever crushed on an actor so hard. It´s Bradley that kinda needed to grow n me for a while. I prefer the two of them as a matched pair, though :)

(yep, completely ignoring homework in favour of gushing about my favourite boys. What homework?)

i love lance and gwen together ♥ stupid boys think they're being all noble and just mess things up. [*grumbles*]

and i think almost everyone was waiting for the r.o.u.s. line :D

my fave bit was when arthur was describing them to merlin and changed their size when he saw his wide eyes. so cute :D

and uther will never admit magic is okay, never. not in this series, i don't think.

Dude, I know!!

I really wish they'd put that line in -- I would have doubled over laughing. Oh, yes, I loved that bit about the size of the R.O.U.S.. Oh, Merlin. Oh, Arthur. ♥

I haven't really jumped into Merlin fic very much yet, but I am curious if anyone has explored any of Uther's backstory -- looking into why magic is so completely verboten with him... It's interesting for me to think about.

well, we know from the first season it's all due to nimueh using magic at uther's request to get igrane preggers with arthur and then igrane's life being taken exchanged for arthur's as part of the magic (which no one seemed to realise ahead of time, not even nimueh). the show explores this a bit more in s2e9 (i think, it's 9, sins of the father. which is totally heartbreaking btw) and yes, people have dealt with that in fic, either as a side event or as a key thing. rare pair people have done uther/igrane fic or igrane/nimueh fic or uther/nimueh fic and talked all around it. as a matter of fact syllic's new and amazing fic deals with it a bit. the whole thing makes my heart break into little tiny pieces.

[*pets them all*]
