today, fellow lj-ers, i discovered how unfit i am. Have been running for the last 3 days (that makes it sound non-stop) & ow! Suppose if i stick with it, it will get easier.

Tis strange, I used to think I was a counry girl at heart, but now I could see myself happily living in one of the big cities. There's just little social scene to speak of, unless neighbourhood-watch meetings & Ormskirk Flower Club are your thing, but the average age of my neighbourhood must be somewhere in 50s. so, great last 10 days, all in all. Scotland was wet, with large lashings of rain, deluges, downpours, "scattered showers", drizzle, etc etc. & then, the day after we got back from scottyland, the heavens aound alton towers decided to open up too.
