What a nice bittersweet look into my favorite Coach. Love his protectiveness, how he wants the best for Julie (even a virgin birth! Hee!) And even more, I loved your view on Tami: he can’t wake Tami up to help him because she’s not really his Tami right now. I was thinking just that after this latest episode - that she just doesn't even feel like my Tami anymore, she's so much more angry and judgmental. But most of all, I love the peek of Coach questioning his actions and looking for wisdom over cold coffee in the middle of the night.

And it wasn’t a bad thing, to have Tim in the house, to have a man who understood why he went on the porch, just to get away from the crazy estrogen in the house.

And now he’s kicked Riggins out, and he just doesn’t know what happens next.

Oh. I loved those little Tim/Coach bonding moments and I so hope that Coach has himself a little moment just like this on the show and decides to listen to what Tim has to say. *crosses fingers* Really nicely done!

Thank you! I'm glad Coach came through. And yeah, I think Tami has some serious post-partum going on which is why she's just barely getting through the days, and he temper is all kinds of frayed. She probably doesn't even feel like herself, but now that she isn't walking several miles in 100-degree heat, no one is going to call her on it or try to get her extra help. We'll see how the show works it out.

I loved the little Tim Coach moments in the episode too. Can't wait to see what happens. thanks for the review in the meantime!

This was an excellent look at why Coach felt he had to do what he did and why he regrets it after hearing about it.

I love all the little weaving bits of the story and Julie's summing up of the relationships and Eric's trying to decipher what she means.

I'm not that much of a Coach Taylor fan, but I really, really like this story. I think it's because I find your characterization to be spot-on. Several times, I found myself thinking 'Yep, that's so Coach.' Excellent job!!

Also: Julie babbling because she's drunk? Totally her.
