My feet are cold just thinking about that mill, but what a fantastic training space to work in. Our wee tai chi school has the top two floors in a small end terrace house, above the shop. First floor is two terrace rooms knocked into one, second floor is three rooms knocked into one. It's a decent space, all things considered, but the supporting walls they've had to leave do get in the way a lot.
You could always knit socks and scarves and sell them to the other waiting parents?

Can't you find a nice portable battery powered heater, or at least some of those little hand warmer jobbies they used to sell in the Royal Exchange?
