I was just about to ask if he'd been introduced to the Pratchett books yet. I've been trying to get into them for ages and now I've finally finished and enjoyed Going Postal. What's not to like about lampooning telecoms and networks when they're your day job?

Some people would say they're best in the order written as a few things do build on earlier stuff, but it doesn't really matter.

Anybody with kids - Jack couldn't get into the Truckers series, but enjoyed the Tiffany Aching series a lot.
