Conflicted

So... 2011 is coming to an end in 6 days and while everyone is taking stock and checking off their resolution lists, I'm battling conflicting emotions.

I'm doing my best to be all bright and sunshiny, frankly optimism isn't one of my best traits. I've been feeling like I've failed my 2011 report card.

parenthood can throw us completely off what we had planned for ourselves. every decision we make for ourselves or for us as a family has so much consequences to consider now. i gotta admit, it gets to me sometimes.

I get what you mean! Since the beginning of this year, I neglected everything else in my life. Even things like paying my bills get overlooked so often! T became the center of everything and it does make me feel underachieving.

Think we all need to find our own balance cos a baby changes everything, everything that we've been so comfortable in. Hope you find your balance soon babe :)

Now that you mention when I was pregnant I am madly working like crazy and was always on my feet "running" around probably that is why Abel never likes to keep still and hates playmat, hatesnbeing left on the bouncer alone, he likes being carried and walked around. He will screamed if we stop walking and look at stuff. :(

Hope you find the solutions to your problems soon while I am still balancing mine.
