...Is that what the towel is for? I had forgotten, and sort of just chalked it up to your tendency to use things for other uses (as when quistis was an end table, which honour I believe has now gone to your kitchen chair.)

Much easier to toss a towel in the wash than it is to dust out a keyboard. That's my thinking, anywho.

And I defend my use of a chair as an end table. Four sturdy legs -- far too many end tables out there are standing on a single flimsy leg, or four ridiculously flimsy legs. My end table remains upright in seismic events :)

A friend of mine used two computers and an old box as her main table for... I think her entire 1-2 year stay in one particular apartment, if memory serves. And I had intended to use a chair as an end table until said chair was required for more pressing makeshift-curtain-rod duty.
