My grandpa died today. He made promises that he wasn't able to keep and I wasn't able to let him see. I couldn't help it. It was more then a year and half way. From now on its for him. I am going to get an awesome GPA and graduate early like he wanted. I miss him already and his annoying habit of repeating every story he ever told. Why do I

Hi again - been thinking of you all week & especially today as the President spoke. I am SO sorry to read this post - I send you my continued thoughts, prayers & support. I do know what it's like to lose an elderly person whom repeated those same old stories and memories....going on 5yrs for my dear Gram now - I recall the year before she died getting so frustrated w/her - later to realize that deep down, I was angry at her for getting old. Hang in there - I know you are lonely - but please know you are NOT "alone." You are in my prayers as is Garrett. May a legion of angels be around you both.

Thank you for all your support....it really means a lot to me. Yea my grandpa died suddenly and it wasn't expected. He was so young also only in his 70s. Thank you for sending the angels because Garrett came home last week :) It has been awesome having him here. To be able to communicate whenever we want and just not have to worry everyday is amazing. how have you been?!

Squeeeeee! I'm SO happy for you guys! When did he come home ? Is he home for good now? Oh that is SUCH great news! You guys are/will continue to be in my prayers and thoughts & the angels will never leave you. Yaaaay! Consider both of you ((hugged)) even though we don't know each other

He came home last monday at around 2pm. Labor Day I believe it was the 4th. Yea that was Labor Day...lol. He was supposed to come home on that saturday then it was sunday then finally monday. You know how the military can never make up there mind. it was so hard though cause reservations had to be changed...lol. He will be home for a year and then deploys again to Afghanistan. At least those are the temp plans. Sucks but I still get him for now..lol. Thanks for the hugs they are always appreciated. I am glad you got that PPD taking care of. I haven't had children so I dont really know much about it. I am just happy that you are happy. That is good to hear about your oldest and the flag. It is good to respect it. Many don't and it hurts to see those people. Garrett says your welcome for going over there he was just doing his job. Hes happy hes home and alive. Now our next mission is to get him a tahoe...lol.
