Chris Mason is a GLBTQ activist who created Phelps-a-thons to raise money when the WBC comes to protest. He also took an all summer trip in 2009 to interview people in all 48 states - he called it Driving Equality. Ifirst met him when he became a GLBT Commissioner. ..should have left out all. It's kind of hard to drive to Hawaii and Alaska was a bit too far away to make his whole schedule work.

I just fwded this from work to my wife. As you prob. know, we lived in Fram. for many years and raised the kids there. Both attended FHS, and SON was an early or founding member of the GSA there iirc.

She was on the Town Meeting there and very active, including for the schools.

When I clicked on this post from my Friends Page, Frank said "not authorized" or something like that. Maybe you were still editing it or smth.

From what I've heard is that one of the WBC objectives is entice people to physically touch them and then they sue for assault; and they've won some cases which is how they are financed.

No need to even touch those "people" at all; we are gay men, and, as such, we can out bitch/out shout/out insult them.. without a need to resort to physical violence.

But: I have seen how evil and foul mouthed these friends of Phelps can be... they are best left alone. Absolute evil corrupts absolutely.

Let them eat each other! :)
