I might as well start keeping a journal. Seems I have tons of time to read other peoples LJ's but always find an excuse or three to not start my own. So here's a pledge for 2004, I'll try to post more often

ahhh... article procrastination. The story of my life. (erm, no pun intended)

What? Deadline? Where?

My record was 20 articles on deadline for a weekly all written in a marathon session from 630 am til 9pm. All week i went to meetings and wrote stuff down, did my research but just stared at the monitor in contempt.
Those were those old VDT editing terminals (green screens) and it was pre -internet days, when research or clippings meant nosing through boxes in the paper's attic and microfilm.
I've worked for a weekly too, it's harder to procrastinate at night on deadline.
