Can you tell I went out and got icons just for this occasion?juxtaposieAugust 30 2008, 04:44:40 UTC
ILU2!!! AND I AM STILL A LITTLE EMBARRASSED BUT NOT SO MUCH BECAUSE YOU MAKE ME FEEL BETTER!!!
I have to admit that, even though it's been sooooo long since I even written PPG fanfic, it has NOT been so long since I've thought about it. And five years of thinking about it finally got an outlet. So... yay me, I did good?
Seriously, I'm so psyched you found it readable, let alone enjoyable! I feel severely out of practice!
"YEAH THAT'S RIGHT JOURNAL I TYPED IT" AHAHAHA I cracked up.essbeejayAugust 30 2008, 07:55:13 UTC
DAW BOOMER. DAAAW BOOMER.
(OT: For the record, I ♥ the icon. Oh Buttercup.)
I love you for opening on Boomer, slouched on her bed. Plus the complete nonchalance at basically breaking into her room while she is naked not ten feet away. Deviant bastard.
That's just one of so many nice little touches throughout. I love Bubbles sitting at her vanity, determined to delay her own deviancy for as long as possible. Boomer being his adorable self with his whole "They come from... CHINA, perhaps?!" joke. The little shoutout for Fascist!Brick. The whole tripping on the edge of the carpet on the way to the bed, yes that was perfect! And their reaction, the giggling, gah, yes. And Bubbles knowing that distracting Boomer gets him to behave, totally perfect for this couple yes. Buttercup and her thirty minute WTF IS GOING ON IN THERE

GOOD THAT WAS MY INTENTIONjuxtaposieAugust 30 2008, 15:25:43 UTC
Yes, yes that was a dedication. And I've already concocted what I hope will be an amusing scenario that might or might not involve getting arrested in a po-dunk little town, with Bubbles forcing Boomer to sit in the jail cell because it's RIGHT, DAMNIT, AND THIS IS ALL HIS FAULT ANYWAYS even though she's absolutely horrified. Anyways...
I'm so glad you enjoyed! As I mentioned above (many time, I think) I was a little nervous going into this, but you have definitely helped to bolster my confidence!
AND ALSO! I am so glad you chose the line you did, cause it was one of the few points in the reread where I stopped and went, "It's poignant... but is it TOO poignant!" and now I'm really glad I left it! Cause it's my favorite too!
ZO-M-G...you know I'm not an active PPG fan (though heaven knows you've gotten me to read enough of it, and it's all been awesome), but this...UBERFAV! So cute and yet so sexy...and even though I neevr watched the show, damn if doesn't seem so RIGHT. I second go google me's motion: YOU WIN. EVERYTHING.
