To me the biggest thing about Young Justice is its scope--it feels like this is the animated series DC has been waiting to make ever since Batman: The Animated Series showed them what it could do 20 years ago. This show has almost everybody--the 6 core members of the team, two satellite members in Roy and Zatanna, 16 members of the Justice League, two different secret supervillain groups plus assorted individual heroes, villains, and backup characters... It's like DC learned from Justice League Unlimited and Batman: The Brave and the Bold that if they have all these characters, they should probably use all these characters--not even just a double handful, but all of them. And with such big casts, they can tell big stories ( ... )
