I dreamed of Superman
So this is a silly wee story that I thought up. Wanted to kind of tell the story of someone's life very quickly but get in a decent amount of character development. Think I did quite well :-)
Be warned it is depressing as fuck.

Because I love telling stories, some that break hearts and other that bring laughter. Some that make the reader rant and rage and the injustice of it all whilst others bring hope and light to those who are in darkness and despair.

The wolf in the woods
So here's the second draft of "The Wolf in the Woods" story. I've expanded a lot of the characterisation, as well as improving some of the language/dialogue I used. I quite like this version but feel I can maybe do better. Think I'll submit it to the writing group.

Harriet the re-edit
So part of the class was to go over a story we'd done and re-edit it. I've gone through this one and cut a tiny bit out but added a lot more. I think the first paragraph hits harder now and makes you feel a lot more ill at ease. I've also tried to create a theme going there, it'd be of interest if you get what I've deliberately gone for.
