And a million fan girls cried halleluiah!

Late squee, but still, a hell of a lot to squee about.

I'm still kind of vaguely around, lurking in the background as I do, but my squee is overflowing on this occasion, hence need for posting. So!
My blithering on Torchwood's 2x01 "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang," plus my favourite moments screen capped by yours truly.

You do make me chortle...all of those screencaps (well, most of them anyway...) are on the Torchwood site as wallpapers! Gotta love the BBC...and yes, I agree. The more I watched KKBB, the more I appreciated the depth of Spike, er, I mean C'pt John's character. Improves with multiple viewings, so a box set of series 2 DVD's WILL be mine!

I'm also loving Ianto so much in this series it's positively painful. He's smarter, funnier, ballsier (oh, baby!) and I thought he had total and utter mastery over Jack in that 'possible date' scene in the office. Lord, the amount of squee was shocking :))

It was the very first Torchwood where Jack said about being pregnant, just when they're about to use the Ressurection Glove in that torrential downpour *is anorak-clad geek nerd*... RTD into m-preg...*snortgiggle*!

Hehe, yup, I'd been on the BBC website and seen the caps, I'd found a ton on LJ comms too, I think I just needed an excuse to go through that kiss scene, frame... by... frame... *drools* Ahem. Plus, neither the LJ comms nor the BBC had capped James Marsters 'wide eyed Spike look.' The shame!!!! Moreover, it is of most importance that I cap this look and show it to the intrawebs. *pulls up hood of anorak*

And gods yes, Ianto's balls are indeed ballsier *sniggers.* I'm utterly adoring him so far too, I just wish he had more screen time! There's still a lot of TW and Dr Who eps that I haven't seen, but so far, Ianto is the only person I've seen try to wind Jack up. I want to reference his two tiny remarks in 'Sleeper' but won't just in case you haven't seen it yet. :)

THANK YOU for telling me in which episode Jack makes the pregnancy remark! That had been driving me mad! Must go re-watch episode one... *squishes* :D

Wasn't it gorgeous!

I had a little trouble at first too to get from 'hey, that's Spike :D' to Captain John (especially with the Spike attitude).

I also *loved* how John is shorter than Jack, yet still tries to dominated the kissage. I can't wait to see more of him. Maybe we get to see a whole joealously thing played uot as Jack is moving towards Ianto

Ahhhhh, Ianto, Ianto, Ianto <3

I don't care it makes no character sense whatsoever after 'Cyberwoman', and there all these confusing hints as to whether or not they've already done anything together, but *who cares* when it's so damn pretty!

Btw, here a decent site for screencaps:

Ooooh, cheers for the website link! :D But as I said to dock_leaf, capping this was really just an excuse for me to go through the kiss scene frame... by... frame *drools* ;-)

Heeee James Marsters is so tiny isn't he?! It does make for very amusing viewing. I bet they fight over who gets to be on top... Except of course on the occasions where one of them is feeling particularly slutty... *mind wanders into the gutter.* Ahem.

I am totally with you in not caring if things don't make any sense character wise. (Or any sense full stop. Did you see episode three tonight? I have no clue what happened, except for that one particular scene. I don't want to spoil it if you haven't seen it yet. But if you have, I'm sure you'll know of which scene I refer to. ;-) ) I've heard other people say things make no character sense after Cyberwoman, so I think I really need to go re-watch that, especially as I've only watched it the once and that was over a year ago.

Pretty icon, btw! I really need a Jack/Ianto icon myself.

♥ ♥ Jack/Ianto ♥ ♥ :-D

Heeee James Marsters is so tiny isn't he?!

He really is! I've seen/met/hugged him twice at conventions and he's about my hight.

I've had my little squee/rant about ep3 in my journal. The lack of logic irks me a bit, but when you get to see a kiss like that on prime time telly, I ain't gonna complain ;)

You've met James Marsters?! *is very jealous* I've heard one or two people say that he's actually, well... An ass. Any truth in this?

Commented on your wisdom regarding the Jack/Ianto situation! Speaking of which... Have you seen this Jack/Ianto spoiler for episode 11 yet? It just popped up on my f-list! If your happy with clicking on the spoiler, please come join me, for I am squeeing madly here!!! *prays spoiler is legit*

We just got that episode on BBC America Saturday and it will be a permanent member of my DVR until I get the DVD's of Season Two.

I loved the episode and I want cpt john back for future episodes.

Heee, it's going to be a permanent member of my VCR collection for quite some time too! I'm so glad you yanks are getting Torchwood (or cockwood, as I like to call it ;-) ) so soon; it's horrid when you have to wait so long for a show to air in your country when everyone else around you is squeeing about it! Captain John appeared in the preview at the end of episode one, there was a clip of him saying, "Its just sex, sex, sex with you people!" So I'm sure we shall see him again soon! :-D

fantastic! We feel lucky that we get it as fast as we did. After the length you guys had to wait for Buffy!!

Yes I am hooked on who and torchwood.

they are my relplacements for Buffy and Angel.

(ironic that yesterday I pulled out my buffy DVD's and am marathoning!)

My wife is almost finished with writing her second book. If she ever gets published we're moving to Ireland. So we will have unedited versions of Cockwood.(that's so frickin funny.)

great caps! & unrelated Q... verushka70 February 6 2008, 10:03:41 UTC
omfg. you are KILLING me with the screen caps! *sniff* I have missed Torchwood so far in my life, mainly because I have no cable TV/satellite to watch Torchwood on (it's on BBC America here, but it sounds like it would be edited to death for primetime network TV (even PBS). I'm waiting for the season 1 DVDs from the library but there are like 20 holds on them before mine. I might have to break down and buy the set. Bu I don't want to jump into the second season if I haven't seen the 1st! (I'm a purist that way--I did the same thing with BSG). And then James Marsters has to go and guest star... and, furthermore, do a full-on man/man kiss that looks like a scorcher. Was there tongue action? full-on major hot man-on-man kissing with tongues? it sure looks like it from the caps. *frets* Damn, I wish TW's 1st season DVDs weren't $50!!

In other unrelated questions... we briefly chatted on ckr_actorfic about hot CKR scenes, which you said you were thinking of editing into one big CKR-as-lover vid. Did you ever do that? Just wondering ( ... )

Hey there! So sorry about the delayed reply to this! Due to my health I often need to spend long periods away from coming online or can only just about manage lurking through my flist. My cognitive functions are bad at the best of times, so when I'm very ill, they're truly atrocious. My sentences just don't make any sense when the ME is kicking my ass like that, so it's best for me just to wait a few days until my heads clearer before attempting emailing or replying to comments. I was shaking my head in a I-can-painfully-sympathise-with-what-your-going-through manner as I read your comment and muttered to myself about the sheer wonder of how doctors around the world can be so fucking narrow-minded despite a wealth of knowledge at their fingertips. *sighs* I am lucky in that I have the NHS, so I don't have to pay for the tests I need doing, but I do have to battle to get them done in the first place and usually need to wait for up to four months. However, I shouldn't complain, NHS = good ( ... )

Terribly sorry this is sooooooooooo tardy. And thanks SO MUCH for offering to hook me up with TW. However, I have a pusher of my own who dangles candy which I often jump at. *g* In fact, TW was dangled months ago -- I just hadn't actually seen it yet, so wasn't tempted. That's all changed. *g ( ... )

Just left a comment on your journal, so sorry to hear your ill. :-( Wow, you work 3 jobs? Sounds like you work way too hard and the physical over-work and emotional stress the jobs bring then puts stress on your immune system which then makes you more susceptible to bugs. However, I'm sure you already know this seeing as you're the one who keeps getting ill!!! But at least you enjoy some of your work and get a bit of job satisfaction - that can be hard to come by.

Out of interest, do you work so many shifts because you desperately need the money for bills etc or feel as though you can't say no to shifts in fear of letting people down? Please, please ignore me if you'd rather not talk about it, I know how nosey I can be!! ;-)

Wooooh to conventions! Your trip plan sounds awesome! I would quite possibly murder to get to a convention. Sadly, it's just not physically possible for me. Therefore, you will just have to take loads of photos at the con and post them on LJ when you get back to cheer me up. ;-)
