Off to a late start this morning. I forgot to set my alarm so I woke up late. On the way to day care, I had to stop for a school bus to board a student in a wheelchair. Then the turkey was back and walking down the middle of the street. People were getting out of their cars trying to shoo it away. It was kind of funny actually

Is it normal for the daycare to be closed on Columbus Day)

They take a lot of school holidays. President's Day, MLK Day, Veterans' Day...I have no idea if that's typical for the daycares around here.
