It was probably lucky Aoko has in her civilian clothing as she passed by Kazuha. Not that she necessarily would have minded speaking to what was clearly a detective as Kaitou Kid (and possibly one from her world, unless there was another universe with a Detective Toyama), but the more time spent around a bunch of intellectual teenagers in disguise, the more she risked her identity being discovered.

Yes, greeting her as Aoko was just fine. Which is how the young girl found herself approaching Kazuha with a tentative smile, hands linked behind her back.

"You sound like you're new," she offered in a friendly manner, "I've noticed that a lot of people ask that same question right when they arrive."

Kazuha blinked at the new girl, pulled out of her train of thought. "Ah, yea-RAN-CHAN?!"

Aoko started once, recoiling in surprise as she blinked at the detective. "Ran-chan...? My name is Aoko!"

Aoko certainly didn't dislike her rival, but she honestly didn't think she looked that much like Mouri... did she?

"Aoko...? But you...you look exactly like her!" Kazuha said, standing up straight to look over the girl. "A-ah...at least...at least at first..." She said, frowning as she looked over Aoko more slowly.

"....shorter, messier hair, not as busty as I remember..." She'd only seen Ran's full figure a few times, after all. "But still....it's really close."
