I love those biscuits. I can't say for certain that they help with my digestive problems, but I remain optimistic, and eat as many as possible.

Beating uprooted plants with a stick sounds cathartic, at the very least.
What's Ghost Dog--movie or book (or both)? It sounds intriguing.

Ghost Dog is a Jim Jarmusch's modern day urban samurai movie. It's worth checking out.
I think there's a purpose to the plant-beating, either shaking the dirt from the edible bits, or knocking seeds from the stem.

they had this sort of "Digestives" biscuits when i lived in england as a kid. kind of a cross between a cookie and a cracker. more fun to eat than a cracker, but not as guilty as a cookie?
and it's good to see you enjoying old folks. who knew?? :)
