Attention newcomers and those familiar with Ikki.

He is not allowed anymore booze, don't set him free. [As he says this, Ikki can be heard protesting in the background.]

I have better things to do than be handcuffed like a criminal! It's for your own good. I'm keeping the key on me, don't even try to get it. You can get out when you aren't ( Read more... )

jitte, joint post, and this is what he does to friends, ikki, action spam, justice now

He's my best friend. I had to do something.

So you lock up your friends when they're drunk.

No. It's a special situation. I lock my roommate up when he's been drinking a month and is probably close to going extreme enough to get alcohol poisoning tonight if left unchecked.

Not to be confused with other situations, I don't do absolute justice.

Someone who drinks a lot? Sounds kind of familiar.

I assume that means there is no justice system in this place yet?

I don't drink a lot, he's just exaggerating.

[Except he has drank a lot for the past four weeks.]

And no, there's no official justice system here. Mostly runs by what one would call common sense.

Though handcuffing is an extreme measure if he exaggerates...

I am impressed. People here must have a high sense of virtue.

Handcuffing a man just because he wants to drink is extreme in any situation.

[Unless there's a Dry Law, which there isn't.]

Not really. But there are enough people who care about those things to kick the asses of whoever tries anything bad.

Something a little more formal than simply throwing anyone who goes too far out of line into a makeshift prison in the tunnels.

And better organization and communication of what needs to be done and who's going to do it.

Smoker. Nice to meet you Angel.

So far most people are just content to leave the serious problems to anyone willing to help, but there are a lot of people willing to help, with no clear direction of where to put their efforts. Throw in the fickle nature of the Malnosso and who comes and goes, organization is nearly impossible.

Did you do something similar before getting stuck here? [Since most people interested tend to be cops or the like.]

[After Smoker's left the apartment and Grell has heard the message, she'll come to find him. Back to being a god now so she'll be coming from the rooftops.]

A bit harsh, don't you think?

Now you're a sight for sore eyes, gorgeous.

[Grins when he sees Grell. And he's got some noticeable burns right now. Burns. On a man made of smoke. Yeah.]

A little, but I had to do something.

[Burns? Burns. Those get an eyebrow raise as she hops down and comes over.]

So I see. It looks like he had a bit of something to do in return. Are you alright?

Yeah. Things got heated. [Tough guy shrug.]

You can't hide from problems forever though.

[Marco is familiar with a certain marine's presence thanks to Labrador's warning, but he's not sure if Smoker knows he's there or not. Either way, he doesn't intend to let the man know if he can avoid it. Still the whole thing screams suspicious, and while thanks to a certain alcoholic red-head Marco can understand the desire to enforce a "no more binge drinking for you" order, handcuffs and the rest make him wary. Also, seastone would be a great tool for killing Blackbeard. If only he knew that the previous time he was here he'd stolen the man's jitte. So he uses Shanks to distract Smoker and sends a filtered message to Ikki. Phoenixes should band together, even if they don't know it yet.]

Oi mate, what are you locked up for, eh?

Drinking. Apparently Smoker has decided he's bored and wants to enforce a Dry Law now.

[Growling, he's not happy. Nope.]

Marines. Always got to ruin someone else's fun.

[Now he just wants to break Ikki out to piss of the random mystery marine. HM.]

Where did you say you were again?

Guess that since he can't do that with the pirates around here he has to do it with someone.

[Not that Smoker is all pirate driven and such, if he was Ikki wouldn't get along with him, but... The young man needs something to jab at the other with besides the cigars.]

Community building 1, floor 6, room 27, thankfully he doesn't think I need to be in an actual jail.

[Sarcasm, it's indeed luckily, except that probably getting out of there would be easier than this.]
