Attention newcomers and those familiar with Ikki.

He is not allowed anymore booze, don't set him free. [As he says this, Ikki can be heard protesting in the background.]

I have better things to do than be handcuffed like a criminal! It's for your own good. I'm keeping the key on me, don't even try to get it. You can get out when you aren't ( Read more... )

jitte, joint post, and this is what he does to friends, ikki, action spam, justice now

Someone who drinks a lot? Sounds kind of familiar.

I assume that means there is no justice system in this place yet?

I don't drink a lot, he's just exaggerating.

[Except he has drank a lot for the past four weeks.]

And no, there's no official justice system here. Mostly runs by what one would call common sense.

Though handcuffing is an extreme measure if he exaggerates...

I am impressed. People here must have a high sense of virtue.

Handcuffing a man just because he wants to drink is extreme in any situation.

[Unless there's a Dry Law, which there isn't.]

Not really. But there are enough people who care about those things to kick the asses of whoever tries anything bad.

Unless the drunk man becomes obviously dangerous for the people.

This is good to know.

... Yes, that would be a good reason. Still there's no way to know if that would happen until after they get drunk. And it's not the case here.

[Fortunately he's not a violent drunk man, he's more violent when he's sober.]

There are a few groups dedicated to it as far as I know, but it could also be argued to be a dictatorship given the lack of a proper justice system.

[Whatever, Ikki doesn't care about either though he won't be against the idea of a justice system.]

So you are not getting reckless when you are drunk? Perhaps he is really doing it for your own well-being.

There are? I do not think it is a bad thing when people try to stand up for justice. Thank you for your information.

Actually I think I'm more reckless while sober. I don't care why he's doing it, he hasn't given a shit about it until now, he has no right to do this.

[Maybe he has, but Ikki doesn't care. Why couldn't he do it the yesterday or tomorrow? Why today?]

I don't think either. But I bet the people who don't like justice have a say in the matter.

[Snort, not that they count.]

Sounds like you are a bit of an adventurous type. Perhaps he thinks now there has to be a limit?

Perhaps they could be convinced?

[Voice] flamesofanger September 11 2011, 22:26:12 UTC
He could have thought of that before. Or tomorrow.

[Ikki wouldn't have cared then.]

Perhaps, you up for giving it a try?

[Because Ikki obviously isn't.]

Why? Was that day special to you?

I do not think I am fit for such a role.

[Voice] flamesofanger September 12 2011, 20:28:33 UTC
No, that's why. Today is the special day.

[He needs new friends, ones that don't care about him. He snorts at the comment about not being fit for that role.]

Guess we will have to keep ignoring them and kicking their asses if they go too far with their wish for no peace, then.

[Voice] imperial_uncle September 12 2011, 20:34:59 UTC
What exactly is special about the day, if I may ask?

Too far? That might be too late then.

You may ask but I won't answer, let's just say it's stupid and pointless. Normally it wouldn't bother me, but Luceti has the ability to make it be really annoying.

[No, really, getting depressed because of all the anniversaries of shit he has gone through and of birthdays of people he cares about and can't reach and is worried about? It's stupid, but given that Luceti makes him think, he can't help it. He just wants to give in for once, and pray to be back home before this happens again.]

Depends on how fast we react. It would be troublesome if someone dies, though, even if they are back after a week.

I-O see.

People come back when they died?

It's one of the "benefits" of this place, the Malnosso will bring you back to live after around a week no matter how you died or even if you exploded in pieces. You may be missing something, but would still be alive.

[He's obviously sarcastic when he says it's a benefit.]
