... Yes, that would be a good reason. Still there's no way to know if that would happen until after they get drunk. And it's not the case here.

There are a few groups dedicated to it as far as I know, but it could also be argued to be a dictatorship given the lack of a proper justice system.

It's one of the "benefits" of this place, the Malnosso will bring you back to live after around a week no matter how you died or even if you exploded in pieces. You may be missing something, but would still be alive.
