...there is nothing to apologize for. I involved myself. [Although this is actually a surprisingly friendly sentiment, for Fenris, he keeps his voice brusque. His generally negative opinion of Anders certainly hasn't changed; he's simply taking responsibility for his own choices.]

[Fenris might have groused about Anders' giving him attitude even in his expressing thanks, if something about the irony of the moment - him finding helping a mage distasteful, and the mage finding that help equally distasteful - didn't penetrate, drawing a wry smirk out of him. Not that Anders can see it over the phone.]

I suggest we never speak of this again. [He does sound mildly amused, though.]
