As the year draws to a close I look at everything that happened.... I start to chronicle the year... to take stock as it were and consider how I have grown as an individual. Am I still on the path to happiness? Has said path changed? How does my current path define me as a person? I consider all these things... then I delete all of that.... cuz

We just started up the potlucks here in Atlanta after a short break for the holidays and we are missing you guys (as always). I can vouch for your cooking skills for your new crowd. And hopefully your venture in Madison will be as successful as ours has been here. It's so nice to have such traditions. You must let us know exactly when you two are planning to visit so we can try to schedule one while you are here.

Despite some hurdles and stress points, my life is pretty damned good, too! I have a political rant of my own and am just kind of leting it simmer for now. Here's a preview..."I am so unhappy with the dems. They have squandered their political capital over what they blithely refer to as compromise." Good luck with your potluck plans...this time of year is when we miss you guys most of all.

I am in the midst of my political and personal end year reflection and thanks rant as well!
Just to get everything negative out, give appreciation for what's good, and welcome the New Year.
