...and they wonder why fewer and fewer people ship USPS...

I don't what course of legal action you have since you cursed back but in the future NEVER curse back. And don't curse first. Generally don't curse. Telling someone to "Go fuck yourself" is actually a crime. With evidence on tape like that you could have sued him for verbal assualt.

I got a pizza parlor in trouble with that once. I dropped the charges (or really never initiated them as it did not get that far) but I brought the attention of the owner to the problem with the police involved and for me that was good enough. I was not seeking compensation. I was just mad and wanted to get the jerk that cursed at me in trouble.

You have destroyed property on your hands AND verbal assault. I'd look into it further. You may have grounds.

well...the printer will no longer be shipping usps (they have already updated their website to reflect that they will now use ups and fedex)

the printer is also going after the usps for the costs incurred for having to reprint and rush-ship my prints. technically there was no insurance, but this was willful negligence and completely preventable...insurance shouldn't be needed.

formal complaints have been filed with the local postmaster and the "postmaster general."

i'm getting a refund of the shipping charges, garnished from the employee's wages.

i figure that's a good start.

i'm still holding hopes for loss of jobs...and it may happen. and if i even have the LEAST little complaint i will be filing formally from now on. the postmaster will be sick of dealing with me...
