This is how much respect the USPS has for packages marked "DO NOT BEND."
oh...and they won't pay for damages because it WASN'T INSURED, eventhough they OBVIOUSLY caused the damage.
...and they wonder why fewer and fewer people ship USPS...
( I have made 5 complaints about package delivery with my local post office since mid-January. This is complaint #6.)
The carrier supervisor told me, "Go fuck yourself, I don't need to hear this." In all fairness, as he slammed the door in my face I said, "Fuck you very much!." (I am so pissed I am still shaking.)
The postmaster is due in at 0900. Guess who will be there?
I have filed 5 complaints since mid-January...
3 for saying they made a delivery attempt when they didn't
1 for throwing a package at my door WHILE I WATCHED
1 for wedging a box in my mailbox so tightly that I had to cut it out with my utility knife
This is complaint #6.
addendum: Just got back from seeing the postmaster. He's NOT amused. He's initially didn't believe me that the carrier supervisor told me to go fuck myself and slammed the door in my face. Then he went to the video tape (who knew the post office has video tape?). I also gave him the name and dates of my other complaints (I keep good records). None of them were reported to him, eventhough all of them should have been. Turns out the post office records phone calls, too...he'll be looking into things. I certainly got the impression that he is NOT a fan of the carrier supervisor.
I filed the paperwork I needed to have the shipping fees reimbursed...they'll come out of the carrier's wages. From now on, ALL of my issues will go through him and through the USPS complaint people. No more being nice.
