I've only just met Detective Beckett, so I don't think I'm qualified to make an assessment. I'll trust Justin's judgment, though.

I've never heard of Harold Saxon, but I'll keep my eyes open.

I'm saying so but you've already had my ringing endorsement. I can say, I've worked with Kate for months. She's professional, she's organized and police work is her life. She'd be a great chief.

And I've yet to meet a Harold Saxon.

Yes. Not too openly, but if we can look back through the network and determine who he talks to frequently, we might find people who know him well enough to give us accurate information.

Alternately, someone from the force could get to know him.
