Busy busy, so I'll keep this somewhat brief.

Excellent weekend. Saturday was the Atlanta Greek Festival with radiantbaby, wheezinggirl, and oneandonlymatt, followed by muchlygood chatter at their place. Sunday I don't remember, actually. I don't have anything down in my calendar, but I seem to recall it as a time of bills and other home-stuff. Relaxy, getting-things-done day. Good ( Read more... )

I've been wondering how things are going for you at ISS. leraje loves it but this week is going real slow for him. Next week starts 2 weeks of intensive classroom training for him. The commute is a killer though. Yesterday he left at 6:15 and it took him 1 1/2 hours. Today he left at 5:50 and it only took an hour.

They're going great! I'll need to figure out who your guy is and go over to say hi sometime.

That's crazy on the commute! Wow! Is he going to be working normal business hours generally? Traffic gets much saner if you can come in about two hours earlier or later. I haven't settled in to a consistent schedule yet, but if I leave Cumming after about 9ish I can get there in about 30mins...

That is great that you are able to leave around 9 and get there in 30 minutes. You're also closer to 400 than we are. From my house, it probably takes 15 min on average to get to 400 (we go across Buford Dam to avoid all the Hwy. 20 traffic). Leraje lives about 4 miles further south off of Suwanee Dam Rd. so it takes him an extra 10 minutes from his house.

I think the shifts available for him are 7-4, 8-5, or 9-6. Since we take martial arts classes several nights a week, he is trying to do the 7-4 shift.I am not exactly sure where he is at ISS. He said this week they are with the tech support group that is handeling the overflow calls and then the next two weeks are classroom training.

I found him! Happened to be in an HR meeting for newbies just a few minutes ago!
