Under Milk Wood, Hot Tub

For various ridiculous reasons (that I can't remember now, since sleep dep causes short term memory loss), I haven't been sleeping much this past week. (A trend that has, blessedly, ended, today, finally a sweet 8 hrs). Here's what I do remember, though:

I forgot to tell you yesterday in the rush of finalsday!, but after reading this I more or less ran to the kitchen and made chocolate chip waffles for breakfast.

By the way, did you chop up your chips, or leave them whole? I couldn't close the waffle maker when I left them whole, and either I need a new waffle maker, or I need smaller chocolate chips.

Hahahah excellent :)

I don't usually chop em up (unless I sprinkle them over ice cream, in which case they're too big -- cause I use baking chocolate chunks type of chips, not the mini-hersheys-kisses shape). Cause that's a lot of effort.
But our waffle maker might be bigger -- it's a big Belgian waffle kind.

Well, then, obviously I need one of those, because my poor chopped-chips didn't impart that wonderful, omigod I just bit into a giant melted chocolate bit that I can get from pancakes with properly sized morsels. (P.S., my favorite breakfast bread of all time is a sourdough densely studded with those massive semisweet baking chunks as well as dried cherries rehydrated with Grand Marnier. With a cup of milky coffee? Heaven on earth.)

Now that I'm living in the Portland area--I had noticed the listing for the play in the Sun and would have liked to have gone, but childcare and assorted issues intervened.
We've been LJ friends for so long--Would you mind if I contacted you on Facebook?
