Yesterday was St. Lucia's day. We put up our Xmas New Year's tree! I spent much of the day looking for a tree stand in various closets, without any luck. When sunday evening rolled around, it was the usual island situation -- no car ferries running, the car was on the island, and there was nowhere to buy a tree stand in walking distance. So I

That does sound like a cool job! It's wonderful to really enjoy what you do, too. I'm glad that you're finding it fulfilling.

Of course, the downside to a fulfilling dayjob is -- am I going to be less tempted by working on my own projects, and am I going to have less time for them?
And the answer right now is yes. But I'm hoping to straighten that out a bit, with time.
