If I start trying to apologize or explain about completely failing at everything I've been completely failing at for a while now - namely fandom, and my fandom projects/obligations (none of which have been abandoned, but all of which have been put on hold for the moment), and keeping in touch - I'll never have the courage or energy to post again, ( Read more... )

Oh, hon, I'm dreadfully sorry this miserable situation is still going on. I hope that in the coming months another, better alternative comes along. You're so caring of your horses, this has got to suck.

Of course the first rides are going to be...less than stellar. They just are But you got through them, and the horses got through them. They will settle in. And you will find a better place--when it isn't winter and you won't be under a horrible deadline. At least the horses are moved, they're together, and you don't have to put up with those awful people at the old stable any more.

I hope, in the coming weeks, that you can find some joy, too. I really, really, really hope that. (And, you know, looking at those photos? You are very lucky underneath all that misery.*g* They are wonderful, aren't they?)

Hang in there kiddo! I know it's incredibly stressful for you and the horses. However, as has already been pointed out, the fact that you didn't have a good ride isn't a blueprint for the future. As you and the horses settle in and become less anxious the rides will get better. I'll be thinking of you.

I certainly hope you took everything back you donated to that cow of a barn owner!... and its already February and spring is way closer now than it was in January...think positive think karma and maybe get an ultraviolet light, a glass of pure malt Scotch, some decadent chocolate, and watch these lovely horse shows I just got uploaded from torrents at UKNova...even though the move was hard on the horses it's always hardest on the ones who care for them and thats the curse & burden we gladly bear for our beasts! *g* ...whine, rant, piss, moan, curse, wallow because you ARE allowed and then remember all the things that are good in your life and go out there and kick 'em in the goolies before they do it to you ( ... )
