In hindsight, perhaps offering to spend the night bar hopping with Gaila hadn't been the best idea after two days of a punishing climb up the infamous Galartha. Her entire body was protesting against even the slightest movement, as it had been doing since she returned that morning and collapsed into a long, relaxing bath. Still, it was an enjoyable

"I thought you'd love it." As Gaila worked on finishing that drink, Nyota gave the bartender a little wave to keep them coming. He seemed eager enough to comply, something she suspected had something to do with how close she was standing to the other woman. Hey, whatever kept the drinks coming. She wanted one night of blissful unawareness where she didn't have to be left alone with the myriad of thoughts stampeding through her brain. Overthinking was so deadly

"I'm not." Nyota corrected, looking down at the countertop and away from Gaila. She didn't remove her hand however, hoping that even a little physical touch would help to ground her, just a little. She couldn't give her what she wanted, but she could help a little. "Nobody is perfect G. Least of all me."
