It has been confirmed that next year EVERY STUDENT in our school will be issued a laptop. This should be interesting. We are going to be the guinea pigs for this little governmental experiment.
Also, every classroom will have a Smartboard - that I am happy about. -

- cat to vet for blood test
- car inspection
- Leah needs a digital voice recorder and her sneakers are too small already
- promised her we'd go to the pet store and get more cat toys
- lots of marking
- practice deboning chicken and making stock -

I'm seeing on CNN etc about all this opposition to Obama speaking to students...WTF? Um, he's the president. I realize it's just the uber-conservatives, so why is the media giving them so much attention? Seems they fear he is trying to "indoctrinate" America's children with EVIL socialist ideologies. SO SAD. -

Well I saw Dr. Thomas today and she took the names of the WLS doctor I want to see and is going to have her secretary make the contact to get things started.
