You describe the characters so good, it seriously seems like I'm in a movie. One of my fav movies tbh. This chapter was perfect, I loved it. And wow, this update came pretty fast, I hope you're not forcing yourself to write but I guess you're not because authors tend to not put much effort in their writing when they feel pressed but this chapter was beautiful so ... Well, I'm not complaining ! I love the fast updates ! They're always there when I need them the most :D

I love, absolutely love how their relationship progresses, but I think I already told you that (and will say it again in the next comments, I suppose). It's all so natural, the way that Kibum "realizes just how much the strange boy means to him". And what is even more beautiful is that it's mutual- it's not like Jonghyun is a cocky, indifferent guy that only intimidates Kibum. No, he's just the same, he's also shy and a bit unsure about this, even though he has the memories of their future. It's just... gosh, it's so precious I can't. Same with Jonghyun getting a guitar from Kibum and being all excited about it even thought he already knew he'd get it ( ... )

First off, I'm super happy you liked the progression of their relationship -- it was the kind of thing that I wanted to show without outright saying, and that can be very tricky to write so yay! And you're very right, it is mutual (and from Jonghyun's part, has been since the very beginning ^^). Jonghyun in this story is cocky in the playful sense, I guess. He really cares about Kibum, and that was important to hint at. I wouldn't say he's shy; he knows how everything will end up but he still enjoys it to the max (like when he gets the guitar). He's just so happy to be on Earth that he'll take whatever Kibum has to offer, kind of deal? You certainly got that right about Jonghyun and I really wanted to convey his view of life as exciting (as opposed to Key's tedious reality ^^).

like the tiny creases that appear at the corners of the boy’s eyes when he smiles - really smiles, just how short and stumpy his fingers are, the way his broad shoulders feel when he leans on them and how unbelievably soothing his voice sounds in the darkness of his bedroom when they stay up at night to talk. so beautiful. ;A; I think this description is perfect. ♥

And because Kibum likes Jonghyun; he’s just too busy to notice. most likely my favorite line in the story so far. it's so honest.
“Huh?” he asks and Kibum stares for a while, very much fond of this clueless, innocent side of the boy. awhhhhh I'm fond of this side of him, too. TwT <3
“Thank you,” Kibum murmurs, for everything, and he thinks Jonghyun didn’t hear him - until he feels fingers lacing with his and his hand being squeezed. Kibum hastily looks down into his lap, heartbeat ( ... )

I kinda feel bad and awkward for Jonghyun in this verse. Poor guy doesn't even know when he is half the time and super awkward around people that aren't Kibum xD He has no resources after all, teehee. ^^

I don't think this story is complicated, actually, if you accept where Jonghyun is from and accept that you can't really imagine it. After that's cleared up, it really is just about Kibum and his life as a teenager-turning-young adult. And that's, well, straightforward to us \o/ so I get what you mean by simple.
