More regular than I'd like.

Would you fill in my questionnaire? I'm trying to work them out.

I don't like going from first day on the job to completely unconscious in seconds. I'd ask how long I was out, but we don't appear to have met before.

Certainly, if you'll share what information you do have.

No, we don't. I'm quite new, though. I'm Eddie Russett, a warden here, and you are?

I'll certainly be sharing my findings, and any ideas I have once I've sorted through the information I've got.

[And he'll leave her a Questionnaire. Mm, paperwork.]

Thursday Next, also a warden. I'm quite new as well, I suppose--unless you count spending possibly months out cold as experience.

Thanks for your help. I'll get started on the questionnaire.

[Thursday haet paperwork, but she'll make an exception just this once, because she haet randomly blacking out even more.]

Welcome back! <3 scruffynerdhrdr May 28 2011, 18:10:28 UTC
Yeah, as I understand it. It's pretty weird, but as far as I know it's not harmful. I just got out of one a couple weeks ago.

Thanks~ <3 jurisfictional May 28 2011, 18:14:29 UTC
Any guesses on how long I was out? Or why it happens, for that matter?

How's Germany? scruffynerdhrdr May 28 2011, 18:22:07 UTC
I haven't seen you on the network in a month. I wish I knew why it happened - at first I thought it was something wrong with me.

Chromie's collecting some data on the phenomenon. Maybe she can help.

Full of beer, pretzels, and cute German guys. Oh Bavaria. jurisfictional May 28 2011, 18:29:08 UTC
Thanks for the information, I suppose. If you haven't seen me on the network then the chances are good that it was a coma and not, for example, memory loss, which is at least a little more reassuring.

I'll contact her, then.

Pretty common, but I'm not sure ones this long are exactly run of the mill. You doing okay?

Slightly woozy, but I expect that's normal given I just woke up. Did anything happen while I was out?

Ahh... we had a hull breach about a week or so ago where we all wound up in the American Old West, and we're in the middle of a flood right now, but apaht from that, nothing's really comin' to mind.

I see. What does this one do?

Sadly, it is far too common. I've even been accused of being the source.

How are you, Madame Next?

I'm sure that's not true. Unless it is, in which case shame on you. [There's a wry note to her voice that suggests she's joking.]

Could be better, I suppose, but unharmed. I'm not entirely fond of going extended periods of time without any recollection of events.

He said it was because I am French, but I'll have you know I am a victim as well, and hardly the only person from France on board. [He laughs a little, interrupted by a yawn.]

Excuse me. I've been very tired lately.

I am sorry you had to miss so much. Were you assigned? I don't even know if you were reported publicly as being in a coma.

[A real laugh from Thursday here before her expression sobers slightly.] You were affected as well? For how long?

No, I wasn't assigned to anyone. Well, I was only here for a short while. I'm not terribly offended if no-one noticed. [It's a welcome change, as far as she's concerned.

Yes, it's fairly common I'm afraid. Welcome back to the land of the living. How do you feel?

Still a little sleepy, but otherwise fine. How have you been, Martha? I imagine the recent goings-on have left you with quite a lot on your plate.

Just a bit. It's fairly normal for the Barge though, I think.

It's starting to sound like it. Let me know if you need a hand.
