Sadly, it is far too common. I've even been accused of being the source.

How are you, Madame Next?

I'm sure that's not true. Unless it is, in which case shame on you. [There's a wry note to her voice that suggests she's joking.]

Could be better, I suppose, but unharmed. I'm not entirely fond of going extended periods of time without any recollection of events.

He said it was because I am French, but I'll have you know I am a victim as well, and hardly the only person from France on board. [He laughs a little, interrupted by a yawn.]

Excuse me. I've been very tired lately.

I am sorry you had to miss so much. Were you assigned? I don't even know if you were reported publicly as being in a coma.

[A real laugh from Thursday here before her expression sobers slightly.] You were affected as well? For how long?

No, I wasn't assigned to anyone. Well, I was only here for a short while. I'm not terribly offended if no-one noticed. [It's a welcome change, as far as she's concerned.

I had an experience last year that was similar but not identical. And just a few weeks ago, for a few days. It was disconcerting to come back to consciousness during a breach.

I'd imagine so. What was it, the American Wild West?

I believe so. My inmate was my brother.
