Very nice. I like how you've managed to convey both the evolution of their relationship and the similarities between Kate and Ash in so few words.

Makes me wish (again) that we could've gotten to see Ash and Kate working--and tormenting the boys--together on the show, but then we'd be looking at a potential epidemic of TVs and computers exploding from the combined force of HBIC awesomeness of Helen, Ash, and Kate, which could make watching the show a challenge :D
