PLOTTING: the Mayfield Wives' Book Club
The Mayfield Wives' Book Club
Hey, wives of Mayfield! We want to plot with you.
muskatli and lotuslife have come up with an idea. They want to start a book club for the ladies of the town. Clearly, this is a pretty terrible idea, because it's them, and Hungary's idea of quality literature looks like this (nsfw and hahaha oh wow I hate myself for finding that). But your character probably won't know that! So here's where you come in.
Basically! The Book Club is for over 18 females only, though if your underage/...male character is really, really determined, they might be able to sneak in (the latter will have to crossdress to earn Hungary's approval). Meetings will be once a month and take place in the form of open logs on mayfield_logs. The meetings will be held either in a public place in Mayfield, or in Hungary's or Vietnam's homes.
Every month, either a terrible 50's romance novel (and I mean terrible) or one of Japan's leftover doujins (said doujins will include any and probably every character in Mayfield, according to Caleb- don't you want to see who gets victimized?) will be picked as the reading material. At the meetings, these quality(?) works of literature will be discussed. Either Sapph or I will provide a description of said chosen book/smutty doujin every month. Bringing homemade baking to the meetings is pretty much a requirement. Even if your character sucks at baking. Do it.
Hungary will be posting an IC sign-up post tomorrow, but this is the OOC plotting post! Basically, if your character wants to be in the Mayfield Wives' Book Club, reply here!
