Desecration of the Holy Innocents

Now that Caster has teamed up with his new Master, Oichi, he'll be starting a campaign of atrocities every now and then across Mayfield; however, he will specifically be targeting a particular location that has been on his mind for a good while: the Church ( Read more... )

He can't take back anything, but I am so tempted to have Alessandro just there for that....

And he's the Pope, right? Oh, dear.

Caster will have plenty of choice words for him.

Yep, the 15 year old child Pope.

He will be so scared.

Depending on his world, he may know about Gilles de Rais and Jeanne d'Arc. He'll specifically ask the kid about God and whatnot, bide his time, make him feel he's going to be all right...

and throw him to the demons. It's just what Gilles does.

I am all up for this, Abel being, you know, a catholic priest and stopping by there to derp all over Ciel quite often.

IF YOU'RE UP FOR THAT. There's also the small detail he's a vampire-eating-vampire and all that jazz WHATEVER WHATEVER... but he would totally be in for helping take back the church!

Totally fine! He can fight alongside Ciel if he'd like to. She's strong, but she could use allies since the numbers are against her. Caster has an infinite supply of demons and Oichi is... fairly tough.

But yeah, he can totally be all badass, defend the Church, and continue derping around.

The fact that he's a priest might have Caster stopping to ask a lot about his views on God.

Alec is the Pope in his world, so he'll try to keep that (poor, poor) kiddo safe -- and of course back-up his brosis Ciel if she needs it, so that works for me! He'll just let her be all badass and shoot things in the face if they go near Alessandro or any unfortunate souls trapped in the church during all this. :|a

I guess it's of note he doesn't like using his abilities unless there's no other option, so he'll pretty much let everyone else handle it and do the dirty work. HE'S GENEROUS LIKE THAT. aslkdjgsdf.

Abel will gladly indulge in any banter, okay, he enjoys trolling in life or death situations...!!!

That works! We need someone to act as support anyway... with sheer numbers, one person alone really might not, well... get to defend everybody and such. But this'll be fun, really, pffft. He'll act as support at the very, very least.

And also, it was mentioned that Abel might at least know about the history behind Jeanne d'Arc and Gilles de Rais. Any chance that's true?

Clover has no way whatsoever of stopping this herself, but damn, is she going to freak out. Unbeknownst to her, she also happens to have some demonic affinity, but now that I think of it, she hasn't regained anything related to it yet, so, uh... not much that can be done with that, I guess...

Yeah, I don't think she'll be affected. She's more or less a normal human now, so the Church's barrier won't slow her down, fortunately. But oh, yes. She's more than welcomed to freak out at the abominations swallowing up a holy building.

Marisa is Ciel's not!daughter and, while not religious, does respect the Church and what she considers a shrine behind it. She's also a very powerful witch with about 85% of her magic back including her amplifier. She'll be around the area (and can fly), so I'd like her to get involved. She'll probably be more focused on Caster himself, counterspelling and dealing with him that anything else.

Oh, she's right to target him. Caster's major source of power is his Noble Phantasm, Prelati's Spellbook. It's more or less like multiple mana furnaces and can automatically cast spells on its own without the need for incantations. He'll largely use it to continuously resummon his demons while Reinforcing Oichi to something near impossible levels.

The spells that he'll cast will be fairly instantaneous, but Marisa might have ways to make him stop. She'll find that she might have to get through his regenerating, fleshy dome surrounding him too, but knowing Marisa, she can probably find ways.

...you know, I think she'll eventually try to steal the spell book.

It being made out of human flesh won't throw her off?

Oh, this will be glorious...

Oichi, for the record, will have absolutely no idea what is actually going on. In her mind, she and whatever army happens to be trailing after her at that point(Brother's, Lord Happy's, Lord Grumpy's... who even knows...) will be sieging the castle at Hetsugigawa.

Which means that Pope= Sorin Otomo
Ciel= Muneshige Tachibana
Abel= ???(haven't figured this one out yet.)

Anyone else who gets involved is also likely to be seen as someone else. She's pretty delusional.
Although she might also have some religious and/or philosophical questions for the 'Xavists.'

Even better is the fact that, at this point, there are only about 3 people in town who could actually get through enough of her crazy to reason with her. And I doubt any of them will get involved.

Abel should be Joe C. Kuroda, because he is so devout.

Oh, yes, this will indeed be glorious.

Also, what Oichi should notice during the fight is that Caster will be working to perform a spell on her called "Reinforcement". Basically, she'll notice that her body is considerably stronger. The previous Caster in F/SN mastered this enough to turn a regular human into a superhuman able to rival mythological beings.

Bluebeard's Reinforcement will be slightly weaker, but still, she'll be twice as strong and fast during the fight. I'm wondering if she might be observant enough to notice it since Bluebeard isn't going to really outright tell her what he's going to do.

But either way, I think we can give the others a good challenge.
