The boots on his Astartes power armor pounded into the ground loudly as Garviel retreated from a potentially unwinnable situation. There was no rule that said a Space Marine could not re-situate himself into a more favorable postition and with the horde of women behind him. But he was quickly growing tired. His armor was not functioning properly, forcing him to use his immense strength to move it.

What exactly had overcome these women was unknown but it was obvious that they wanted Garviel. They slowly grew closer to him and it became harder to regulate his breath. Something was overcoming his body. And it got worse as the women were almost in reaching distance of him.

No, it became clear to him what it was.
