Hi, everyone!

So, it's FRIDAY at last!! Yayz! I value my weekends ever so much. But as per typical I have homework. So I'll try working on the update but I really have no idea when it's going to actually show up on you guys's monitors for enjoyment. :(

Hey, have you guys ever noticed that you get all worked up for a plot, and right before you're ( Read more... )

I think if your computer can handle it, then go ahead and get AL. It's one of my favorite EPs (second favorite actually - right behind Seasons), and it's just really great. The ceilings were the major selling-point for me. LOL. It sounds silly, but the ceilings that come with AL are SO much better than any CC ceiling. And the ability to change the height of wall decorations (and some wall lights) = major mmm-ness. Witches are awesome, too, and they can be a lot of fun. It's kind of funny that I've never actually used the apartments. Hmm.

As for making your journal friends only: That's completely up to you. I can see why it would seem snooty, though (my personal journal is F-Locked, which doesn't really make much sense since I hardly ever update it).

But yeah, that's your choice. Maybe you could do something like Sims stuff is public, but personal stuff is F-Locked? IDK.

"It's kind of funny that I've never actually used apartments." xD I did play in an apartment that one time, and I liked it. Thanks for your insight, I know most of you guys have AL and can help out with that.
I've always been very careful with info on the interwebz. And I have f-locked some stuff that was more personal/not about Sims at all. I don't think I'll do it, I just realized lots of people do so I was considering it. :)

OMG I AM ALWAYS THINKING OF NEW PLOTS THAT DON'T HAPPEN FOR ANOTHER 2 GENERATIONS OR SP. Then I get excited about them, and forget about my old ideas. Then I'll go to shoot the old plot scenes and fall in love with them again.

If your computer can handle it, you should get it. If not, you don't want to make your game unplayable.

I f-locked my personal journal, but I don't think it would be considered snooty if you locked it. You can always do what Jules said though.

INORITE?! It doesn't make actually shooting the scenes any less fun, but it seems my brain is always focusing on the Next Big Thing.
I thought my computer couldn't handle OFB, and then...nothing happened. My game ran exactly the same. No added lag, no more crashing than usual. I'm confident my system could handle everything except the video requirements. Soooo...
Yeah, personal journals should definitely be f-locked. But I don't have a personal journal as of yet (I don't think my life is quite interesting enough for a seperate journal). I probably won't f-lock. :)

Firstly, hi Lettuce! *hug* I haven't seen you in awhile!
My idea was if I got AL (becoming more likely with every reply) I would back up everything, and if it doesn't work, then I'll just uninstall and put my old files back.
*checks* Woah, I am! It's not like that I'm hiding from certain people online, none of my friends know I even play Sims. Ever since I first went online I've been extremely paranoid about my info, so I don't think I really need to f-lock.
Aww, I don't think you're snooty. Personal journals are personal; yours is more like a diary than anything, and if you're like me you really don't want certain people reading your diary. And may I dorkily grin hearing that you like reading about my life? :D And if I ever felt I needed to f-lock of course I'd keep you on the list.

Get AL!! I can't get it, so you get it. Yeah, makes sense to me!
As for f-locking your LJ, I don't really care. It isn't like you have any top secret information or anything, right?

And that plot thing you wrote about at the beginning, I suffer from a familiar affliction. I'll have ten different plots in my head, and try to work every single one in somewhere. All I end up with is a big mess, but whatever.

LOL, Mae, are you trying to live through me? xD And no, I am not Federal Agent Jack Bauer and I do not have secret information. I probably won't f-lock unless I start to feel like I need to.
I know! So much plottage, so little time.

Woooow. That's some major plottage right there, Ayesha. May plumbob help you.
Thanks for your take on AL! Sounds like you like the same things I do. And witches are awesome, my silly witches in-someone else's-game always just wanted to be cured.
Yeah, I won't f-lock. Unless, you know, people start harrassing me over LJ. Which I doubt will happen.
OMG yes, yay for WCIF Sims!!
