My body is a wreck right now. My feet and back were hurting so bad last night that I was literally writhing in pain. Ibuprophen doesn't even touch my back pain anymore. i'd go with hiking boots if it was a choice between the two because i really love hiking... it's wonderful!
and no, bucking up is the wrong answer. What you need to do is sleep in enough to make up for my sleep deprivation as well
